Barley Bros Brewery Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I have been here a few times when working in the area. Huge fan of the Manhattan steak sandwich and onion rings. Very tasty and you can actually pick up this sandwich and eat it. The meat is quite tender and seasoned perfectly. We didn't realize they closed at 9pm on a weeknight, but they pleasantly reminded us to order soon, but we could stay as long as we'd like. The stout and IPA are quite tasty.

My friends and I came here after a long day at the lake. AMBIENCE: It was right next to the lake which is so beautiful! I like how the lights were dim so it gave that comfortable vibe. FOOD: I had the cheese appetizer and it was DELICIOUS. It was my favorite. It's a great location and I highly recommend it if you want to have a view of the lake while eating.

Meh. Food was average-ish. Service was average-ish. Vibe was trying-to-be-somewhat-classy-but-still-appeal-to-bros awkward. The tables arranged across their long window overlooking the river made it seem like it was supposed to be some kind of intimate experience. Except most patrons are people who just spent all day drinking beers on a boat, so... doesn't work. Nothing special here. You might as well just pick up some fast food and call it a night. In fact, we did go to In-N-Out a couple hours later because nobody was satisfied with dinner.

Even on a major weekend this place is awesome! Great food, great service. Eric, the manager, got us seated right away and made us feel welcome. The lobster mac and cheese was bomb. The salmon Cobb was perfect. Will DEFINITELY be back.

This place has a beautiful view and great food the margarita pizza (yumm) My husband had the sampler beer it was cool to try what they had. The cheese cake was delicious. The waitress was such a doll. A pleasure all around.

We ordered PB&J burger, lobster mac and cheese, scallops and cheese bread. Maybe we came on a day they were training a new cook but none of the food was good. My father in law said the scallops were garbage, over cooked! We didn't finish a single plate! The burger was returned due to a hair...20 minutes later I got the replacement that was burned to well well done. Not to mention our server was not very attentive. We won't return! Wish Cooper Canyon Brewery would have been open!

The only good thing about this place is the view!! Maybe the bar is better?? - but the restaurant sucks for lunch!! We walked in and waited about 5 minutes at the hostess stand with nobody in sight! Finally looked around to find a manager and 2 servers literally playing grab ass with each other. When they saw us they gave an eye roll because we were bothering their screwing around time and then came over to help us. Wow.... seriously thought we were on Candid Camera with this whole scene! Got seated with a nice view of the channel. Our server was actually nice and friendly. Watched the 'manager' walk around the restaurant the whole time we were there and just screw around with every employee he came in contact with--- whether it was trying to trip them or slapping them in the back of the head or grabbing their ass. This guy was a giant tool and so unprofessional!! Where did he come from?? Needs to go back to the frat house! Food SUCKED... the veggie sandwich was laughable. Menu reads "served on 7 grain bread"..... not even close. More like the cheapest, low dollar, fake wheat bread you can buy!! Worst veggie sandwich ever!! Embarrassing that they even serve it to people! New York Steak Sliders............ meh. pretty boring. The fries were good. That was about it. Not a big fan of the Shugrues Restaurant Group, except for Makai Café which is a great place for breakfast and lunch (located directly below this crappy restaurant!)

Stopped off for lunch after a morning track meet. Staff was very friendly and a small, but tasty, beer selection brewed om site; the Freedom Bridge Amber Ale was particularly good. I had the lobster burger which was a well done burger with lobster and an egg on the beef patty. The seasoned fries were ok. My wife had the salmon Cobb salad when cut she enjoyed. The view out the window provided an unobstructed scene of the London Bridge. Overall great place to hangout, not over crowded, and the music was low enough to allow good conversation with out being overbearing.

  • Joey L.

Coming by boat? Use the complimentary docks near the jet ski rental booth next to London Bridge. Great place to watch football with the 6 or so flat-screens at the bar. Beer on tap is good and typical for brewpub restaurants with the go-to IPA, Blonde, etc. Decent burgers and food was promptly delivered. Bartender was super friendly and made solid recommendations. Good place to take a break from the sun and still partake in some alcoholic beverages with friends.

This place has gone terribly down hill. The ambiance is bad, the service is even worse, and the a lot of the tables and booth seats are broken. The salads are clearly the bagged stuff you buy at the supermarket. My steak was burnt (partially my fault for asking for well done). The vegetables were hard and not fully cooked. The fondue bread was soggy. My waiter made me basically bus my own table and he never once asked to refill my drink even though it was completely empty from the time I got my meal. So if you want bad food and bad service at outrageous prices this is the place for you.

Good food, great beer and a nice place to just hang out. There are tables by the window, with a view of the river. Food highlights: - garlic pizza - veggie sandwich - gorgonzola mushrooms

Close to the bridge with good views. Service was terrific in the bar but terrible once we hit the restaurant. Could barely put in our order and certainly got no refills. We had 4 tables with many people. Each table had their own service. Food was average bar good. I haven't been to Havasu since the 70s and it clearly needs some repairs and upgrades. I know it's a popular spring break spot, but people who come off season would hope to have some places that are trendy

We went in after dinner for a drink and that was all we got. Can't speak about the food. Location is great and plenty of televisions. Staff was very friendly. Want to sample a beer just ask and they will give you a sample. Beer was ice cold with was great. Service was a little slow but that was ok.

Great happy hour prices. Service was excellent. I recommend Barley Brothers if you are in Lake Havasu City. Award winning beers, my husband loves the IPA and I love the Stout. Our group of five ordered different dishes, and everyone was happy with the taste and portion size. Thanks Nikhol for making it a perfect evening!

We were here in April. Oh my god the nicest nicest restaurant ever! And the food was off the hook, and the big bonus was that you see the London Bridge right from the window! This place rocks!

My husband and went to grab a beer and some lunch. My husband has a dairy allergy and after a while working with the manager and server to find something he could eat, the manager told us that "this might not be the place for us" due to my husband's allergy. I think the manager was feeling some heat since the cook was clearly having a meltdown over my husband's allergy. We could see him from our table throwing his hands in the air and not trying to help us at all. Also the place looked gross, tons on dust hanging from the window coverings and my beer glass was dirty, no lacing on the glass from a Stout???? Get your sanitizer right!

  • Barb B.

Bar review only! We've been here many times over the last year or so. However, we've never eaten here.... just drinking. We REALLY enjoy their beers! For me, it's almost always the Tripleberry Wheat. Great flavor but not overly sweet or fruity. My men enjoy the Chocolate Mint Stout. I have to confess... I do sip out of their glasses. Cuz it's THAT good even tho I'm not a stout drinker. The service has always been prompt and friendly. They are happy to pour you taste samples. AND the fun part is they have Trival Pursuit cards on the bar. We've had fun rolling thru these and laughing at our own stupidity.

Last 3 times we've been in for lunch ..waitress was excellent... food less than acceptable. Fish/chips terrible. Sent back twice. Waitress threw both meals in trash...but charged us for them. Kinda following the same pattern as maddogs. Shame because ambience is great

Great service and yummy food! I have a food allergy, and the waiter was able to recommend an entrée for me. I appreciated his knowledge of the menu and cooking processes!

I just want to give a big shout out to the condescending and argumentative busboy at lunch last Friday, you saved me time and money, as well as possibly gastric distress, with your assaultive nature. I don't really know why I kept darkening the doorway of this establishment, was it the predictably average beer, was it the sub-par food, was it the sketchy service, you sir cast a beam of light on what would otherwise had been a large tab and an empty feeling in my soul. I left and went elsewhere, where my patronage was appreciated. Not to be left out, I also wish to thank the equally argumentative manager, you sir confirmed what I had suspected all along, that the Shugrues Family of Restaurants is staffed completely by the worst society has to offer, my hat's off to you!

No idea how the food is because we are waiting.... But the girl at the hostess desk (Sam) has a MAJOR attitude. She was not helpful - she had two older ladies standing around instead of letting them take a seat in the bar area where nobody was sitting. I am patiently waiting out in the hall because standing near the bar is a fire hazzard. That is what Sam said. Only one star for the hostess.. Will update if we ever get a table SCOTT our server had an amazing personality. Made us forget about the hostess. The food was really good. I ate way too much (that's how good it was). Lobster ravioli.... Mmmmmmm. The brownie desert.... way way way yum

Service was good, but screw the cooks. It said STUFFED trout on the menu, and they just threw everything on top. I would not have ordered this if they had described it as served.

Awesome!!! Was out with my family and decided to go check out barley bros for a nice Friday night dinner. Apparently this was the place to be on a Friday considering how crowded it was. We were all skeptical at first if we would get good service.... Nevertheless, the service was wonderful. We were seated very quickly and treated with the utmost respect. Being a brewery, they still had a full bar, so we were all able to enjoy some awesome cocktails. Really looking forward to going back with my family because barley bros has definitely become one of our "go-to's" when we are in Havasu.

We went to Barley Bros Brewery on a Wednesday night around 7:00 and while we didn't have to wait for a table the place was pretty full. Having said that it was October and many of the other restaurants in the same area were closed for the season. My wife had the baby back ribs, which was, according to our waitress, a Wednesday Night Special. It was a full rack with French fries & apple cole slaw. The ribs were perfectly cooked. Not falling off the bone but extremely tender, with just the right amount of sauce. Very tasty. I ordered the Trout, a fish I love but which is often over cooked in restaurants. Happily the trout was also perfectly cooked with a topping of crab, sautéed onions, & mushrooms. It was accompanied by mixed squash & home fried potatoes. Everything was very tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was my cocktail. I generally drink Manhattans on the rocks. This is a simple drink of bourbon and sweet vermouth with a cherry garnish. What I got tasted like an Old Fashion. Sugar, angostura bitters & bourbon. This one may have also had a splash of cherry juice. The Old Fashion was well prepared and I enjoyed it very much deciding not to return it. Other than that a very pleasant meal in a nice little restaurant. I'd definitely go back.

boy o boy........is the food here good or what. Rode our bikes from Kingman. Had yelped a good place to go and Barley Bros came up. I also asked friends who live in the area and they too said this is the place to go. There were 7 of us so everyone got something different and each meal was really wonderful. Can't wait for the next trip there.

Great place! Shrimp and pesto pasta was to die for! Hubby had a chicken club that he said was great. Beer was really good, i tasted an amber ale that was smooth and delish! Great ambiance is you get a window table. It looks right out at the London Bridge. Great service too!

Came here for lunch and it was great! Large restaurant with plenty of seating, a lot of great tables by the window with views of bridge and lake. Good, attentive service. The salads are large and overall just a diverse menu to satisfy everyone. Didn't have any of the beer but others near us seemed to enjoy it.

  • Tessa M.

I'm not a beer snob so to me the beer was good. The decor was a little old but it clean. The service was ok. Not sure where he went a few times but we had drinks and the food was hot so no complaints here. The pizza was yummy and I'm not a pizza person. The view was pretty sweet. I would come back here. :-)

Stopped in while in town to taste a few brews and grab a growler to bring back to the campsite to enjoy later. Was torn between the stout and the red but opted for the red. Bartender was very nice and efficient and the few beers I sampled were all great. Didn't try the food so no comment there.

We lived in Lake Havasu for a number of years and haven't been back here for about 8 yrs. We couldn't wait to come here for dinner. The beer was as good as I remember, love the IPA. The restaurant looked like it was a little dated. I don't think they have done anything for the last 15 years that we have come here. The menu was about the same and we ordered our favorite Gorgonzola Mushrooms. Still Very Good. For dinner we spit a Salad Wedge and the NY Steak with Shrimp special. The wedge was very good. The NY was ok.

Bar review, great beer & great service: Joe was a pleasure from beginning to end. He could tell that we were interested in seeing what the taps had to offered and boy did he deliver. He was just as pleasurable as the brews he set before us. We will be looking forward to this place on our next visit!

What a dive. I ordered the fondue and there was mold on the bread. I told the waiter and he was not even apologetic. I won't be going there again. MOLD

This past weekend I had a chance to pass by Lake Havasu and had lunch here at the Barley Bros Brewery. We discovered this place since the other restaurant across this one was closed. It is located next to London Bridge. Seating inside had a great view of the London Bridge. Receptionist was nice and friendly; food were actually decent but not entirely on the healthy side. We ordered a plate of Lobster Ravioli, Shrimp Pesto Pasta and Cajun Burger. First of all, the Lobster in the Lobster Ravioli were swimming in a sea of cheese. We were able to see a few diced up pieces of lobster and the rest of the plate was a big mess. As for the Shrimp Pesto Pasta, thank God the shrimp were not swimming in cheese, however, they were mostly swimming in butter. Lastly, as for my Cajun burger, I absolutely could not taste the "Cajun spice" that was described in the menu. Aside from the unexpected food experience, our waiter was taking his time to come to us for our orders. After I waved him down to indicate we were ready to order, he still decided to attended another table and took his time to chitchat a long time with them. We appeared to be the only Non-Caucasion table at the time. It was very interesting to watch how his attitude changes as he attend our table. Hello? We're in 2014. Were have you been?? Luckily we're only here for a short period of time. I personally would never go back to this restaurant as long as their busboy has this kind of attitude. I wouldn't mind the food so much even if they didn't meet my expectation. However, I do mind the fact that the busboy had such a surprising attitude for the multi-race people coming through the door and paid to eat here. With that, I would give you a 1 star only.

We have been going to Barley Brothers for years. Taylor and Marlene are amazing bartenders and never leave your glass empty. Since Keith has taken over brewing, the beer has really improved. Not a huge fan of the food so if I am just rating the beer and bar service it would be a 5 star, with food I'd say 4 star. All of the staff has been top notch every single time we have gone. Can't wait to go back.

Great restaurant! I was on vacation and really enjoyed the food. Tried their dinner salad, ribs, and calzone. All great and hit the spot. Fast seating and the food came out fast. Yes it is more of bar like food but it was delicious. Would go back if we come back here.

Here I go again reviewing a brewery when I don't drink beer. My brother lives in Havasu and suggested Barley Bros because of it's view of the water and London Bridge. I can say the food is A-okay. I was a little surprised to find they don't have wings. I thought that was a requirement for all breweries, especially when their specialty is wood-fired pizza. I've had both the New York steak sliders with sauteed onions and horseradish sauce, and the margherita pizza. Both were good, but not the best I've had. I expected the pizza to be better honestly. But overall, certainly a nice enough place for a stop. I doubt there are a whole lot of places any better.

I ordered the calzone which was amazing!! We also got the garlic bread as an app. It came out fast and was very good. The cheese was fresh and my waitress was very attentive. it has a good mix of the "steakhouse" vibe and also a sports bar setting which is hard to pull off. My boyfriend got a cheeseburger which was cooked perfectly and was a good size. Will def be going back to try the pizza when I am in town again. :)

The steak was bland. The garlic mashed were not fully cooked with huge piece's. The view is wonderful.

Good service, good food, nice view of the London Bridge. Had the house salad, it was delicious, but need avocado. Hubby had the grilled chicken sandwhich and he didn't share, which means he liked it. The service was very nice and prompt.

We were really pleasantly surprised by Barley Bros. Too often restaurants carry themselves by being by a tourist draw (the view of the London Bridge and the water in this case). But not the case here. The beer sampler let us know that all the beers were indeed good. I don't like "blonde" beers in general but I actually liked theirs. The lobster mac was great and had nice chunks of real lobster. It was a little more on the creamy side vs. the cheesy side but still very yummy. My husbands sliders were tasty (though at the end of the day a slider is mostly bread I don't care who makes it). But my pastrami sandwich with apple slaw was excellent. SO many places give you pastrami you have to gnaw through. This was just a little crispy on the edges and oh so tender. The bread was perfectly toasted- not too much that it mangled the roof of your mouth- but crispy enough to hold up to the slaw and Thousand Island. Yum yum. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars is because I can't give 4.5. My only complaint is that the décor is kind of 80s diner cheap. Burgundy walls and hunter green. This doesn't affect the food obviously...but it doesn't exactly have any ambience. It doesn't feel like a brewery or a bar or a nice restaurant. Time to break out the paint can.

  • Erika L.

Can't beat the view or the salmon salad! A little pricy. Both house specialties, (dressings), are creamy. With the salads like they have, they need a fancier accessory in the herby palette

Ate here this evening and found it a very pleasurable experience. We were seated right away and were right next to the windows overlooking the channel. Very lovely view. Our order was taken promptly by a very nice waitress who was knowledgeable about the menu. Our order came faster than expected and was wonderful. We would definitely eat here again and again.

Great apps at happy hour and the beer. .. oh the beer! Keith is knocking out out of the park! Living the trippple berry and the lakeside wit is the bomb! Marlene is a phenom bartender and Katy is a great server. Love this place! !!!!!!

  • Dayna C.

Although the setting was ok the food sucked ass. All my kids and I ordered was soup and the rib appetizer. The soup was minestrone and nothing but veggies in water. The ribs were dried out and the waitress was so slow. Needless to say the whole experience was TERRIBLE!!! Don't go there. Walk a few feet past the place and go to the other restaurant.

  • Dana H.

So disappointing. I would really like to find a great place to eat in Havasu but sadly its not going to be Barley Bros. I keep trying this place about once a year hoping but, the food is consistently bland. A shame that it isn't great because it has an awesome view of the bridge and the channel. Gave it two stars because the mohito I ordered was pretty good!

We were greeted with a cold shoulder, however,..... Everything on the menu sounds amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection. Our server, Jonathan, was excellent. Next time I'll bring a sweater because I was freezing.

The Barley Bros Brewery is A-OK! If your looking for a place to eat/drink close to the 'London Bridge" this place is alright. They have humongous windows over looking part of the lake towards the bridge. If you go for happy hour getting one of these choice tables by the windows isn't a problem. Food/Beer~ it was ok. I preferred to the beers over the food. Service~ was very good! Our server kept checking in on us throughout the meal and was very attentive to our drinks and food. Dinning~ it's kind of an older crowd, but there were some young groups here and there. The BBB is a good place to go for happy hour!

Giving then 2 stars because the house beers and service was decent but everything else was terrible. I ordered the rotisserie chicken, was dry and bland, my friend ordered New York strip and he says it was the worst steak he's ever had. My friends gf ordered the chicken parm and said the spaghetti tasted horrific. It was like biting into garlic spaghetti's. Only 2 soups were available, Ministroni and Barley Beef both were also bad. Only thing decent to eat was the house salad and dinner rolls. Avoid this place if possible. Prices for food are not worth it. House beers @ 4.25 for 16oz is not bad but that's it's only redeeming factor, but not much of one.

Second time out of four that our experience was bad. A Tuesday evening at around 8pm, were ignored by three staff members for more than ten minutes as we waited at the door to be seated. We ended up walking away to find others outside that had the same experience. Won't be returning!

I am not sure if this Barley Brothers Brewery was just having an off day. I have heard good things about this place. I personally will never be back. Started off real nice, sat by the window had a view of Lake Havasu. Our waitress who was in training seemed nice at first. We ordered the sampler. She got our drinks I had an tea my husband had a beer. Ok about 10 to 15 minutes later she came back to ask if we were ready to order our meal. We order the full rack of ribs. Minutes later we got our salad. Minutes after we got our ribs, she asked at that time if we needed anything we were both ready for refills. She brought the pitcher of Iced tea over and filled my glass. Leaving behind a dead fly in my tea. When she finally came back around I asked for a fresh tea. We also asked about our appetizer. She went to check on it, brought it to the table ice cold. And told us they had just made it fresh. Our salad was wilted and yellow , Our ribs were dry ams cold as well aa the French fries. And of course our sampler was ice cold. At this point, I am upset She would not come back to the table. Asked everyone around us if they were good. Never came back to us. My husband did not want yo complain. So we paid our bill and he tipped. I will never go back.

My boyfriend and I stopped in on our way through. The beer was tasty and decently priced, but the food was so-so. I had the pastrami straw sandwich which was very good, but the Caesar salad was way overdressed with obviously bottled dressing. By the bottom of the bowl, the letter was just sopping. My boyfriend got a burger and a garden salad with "balsamic" which was pink and creamy and obviously not balsamic. The burger was overcooked as well. Our server was pleasant and put a nice hop in her step when we told her we had to get back on the road, but a little slow before that. It's an okay place to eat if you're traveling through, but I wouldn't go back if I happened to be in the area.

Growing up in Havasu, I only ate at Barley Brother's once in the third grade. I remember they had pizza and it was pretty good. With that mindset (or just pizza on the brain), I decided to meet some friends here this past weekend. I am glad I did! My husband and I ordered the Mushroom pizza (four different types of mushrooms with a white truffle oil) and a side salad. The salad came with a fresh from the oven roll - which was to die for. Super soft and fluffy - oh, it just melted in my mouth. Then the pizza, mmm... I love mushroom pizzas and this one was definitely one of the tops. The crust was thin and crispy and the cheese was melty delicious. Our friend tried the Don calzone - it looked amazing and he said it tasted amazing. For dessert, we split the derby pie. Imagine a cookie baked as a thick, delicious pie and then ice cream. (Similar to a pizza cookie.) This was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to go back.

My family and i visited this restaurant during our vacation. My husband enjoys trying new beers and these places usually have really good food. . We arrived and we were seated right away, which was nice. We had a perky happy waitress who explained some specials, one of which was a steak that seemed like it would be nice to try out. I ordered that while my family tried out the burgers and ribs. My family got their food and were satisfied with what they got. My son got a "peanut butter and jelly" burger that he really enjoyed. My "special" however was terrible. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out pre-sliced and gray all the way through. It looked as if someone had just reheated something poorly or sliced it and cooked it in pieces. I immediately called the waitress over and she offered to have them cook a new one. I accepted and waited about 15 minutes while my family ate happily. When my new steak arrived it was medium well at best and very chewy and fatty. I was not impressed and I had to drown it in bar b que sauce to choke it down because I was starving. To put the icing on the cake, I ordered an Arnold Palmer to drink and when I asked for a refill (after my glass sat empty for a long time) I was told it would cost 50 cents to refill. I know that's a silly thing to get upset about, but i have never experienced a charge to refill an Arnold Palmer which is just iced tea mixed with lemonade. If I ordered any of those things separate I would not be charged at all. That was just really odd to me and if I had known we would be nickel and dimed I would have just ordered one or the other! I'm glad my family enjoyed the meal and if we return on a future vacation I will just stay away from their steaks and Arnold Palmers!

Never disappointed. I had an Arizona chicken club.. It was dee-licious. It had a nice big chicken breast that was larger than the bread. Had their cole slaw which was sweet vs tart, I rate it as one of the better cole slaws I've had. Their drinks are always good, I had a couple of Mai Tais. Onion rings were good also. If you haven't been there, there are plenty of window seats where you can see the boats in the channel. Can't forget the waiter! Didn't catch his name but the waiter or waitress always play a big part and his service was excellent.always plenty of parking across the street if the lot is ever full. ENJOY!

I've only been here once and I'll never go back for a very simple reason: Roaches. I went out with some friends for drinks, we were seated at the bar, a short while after being there I looked over and saw several roaches crawling up the wall behind the bar. Then I noticed a few more crawling around the classes that were being served to guests. The bartender was standing right there, I don't know how he could have missed it so I mentioned it. He just kind of shrugged it off so I purposely said it a little louder so other people would hear, he rolled his eyes and just shooed the ones on the counter away. That was it, I was done. I handed my drink half finished drink back and left. I found out by someone who worked there, this is a real problem here. Never again.

Sat at the bar. My husband tried a couple of their own beers which he really like and I enjoyed a never ending supply of fountain coke. We also shared a toasted sub with fries. Plenty for two people. The bartender was the star of the night, though. She was a whirling dervish whipping up all sorts of cocktails and pouring beers with such efficiency...as well as waiting on the guests sitting at the bar. I'll be back.

This is our favorite spot for field green salmon salad!! The staff is wonderful. Everything on the menu is delightful but for us it's the salads. The beer is wonderful but the mixed drinks are INCREDABLE :)))

Not only great food, but amazing beer. Every time I have been to this establishment, I have had the perfect experience. I've had multiple dishes here over the years, and all are cooked to perfection. Recently, they added some new items to the menu and I must say that I am impressed. Their lobster macaroni was so creamy, and a perfect balance of flavors. I also tried the PB&J burger. At first I was skeptical, but my server Mark highly recommended it. Even though the description sounded odd I went for it, and I didn't regret it. The service I have received has always been very attentive, and speedy. When they are busy, you may need a little more patience going in. The service is still top notch, but the time in between the checking on tables is slightly delayed. Which is to be expected at such a friendly/desired restaurant. :)

We checked out their expansive menu one day on the way back to our condo, and decided that a lunch was appealing. We went for a late lunch so that we could enjoy the 6 pack Beer sampler along with our food. I chose the veggie sandwich with whole wheat bread, red pepper hummus ( best hummus I've had), avocado, lettuce, toms, Havarti cheese and red onions with a side of cottage cheese, while my spouse had the Turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce, Havarti cheese, lettuce, toms on a Ciatta bun with seasoned fries (translation: salt). The sandwiches were tasty, the fries were average, and the beer sampler was ample! 6 types of beer in 3 ounce glasses, so food was a necessity for me, at least. There were some salads and fish dishes on the menu that looked appealing, and had we had time, we would have come again. The seating by the windows is the best for looking at that lake and at the London Bridge. The prices were reasonable, at $10 per sandwich and our total was $26 plus tax.

This place was awesome!! There were 6 of us - no reservations - during the recent Balloon Festival so things were jumping and it was a Saturday - early evening! They got us in right away - had a great table and an amazing waiter! Seriously - we eat out a lot and at some pretty high end places....the service here was first class! Everyone loved their food too -- had a variety among us ...burgers, pizza, salads, pasta...it was all great!! We'll definitely come here again next time we're in town!!

One of my favorites in Lake Havasu City, our recent visit was great. We take friends here when they visit, because we know the food and the view will be consistently good. The beer is craft brewed, as it is a brewery, but the food is also amazing. The Seafood/pasta dish is my favorite, but this visit they had a special on a full rack of ribs with fries, salad, and coleslaw. Outstanding, and way more than we could eat. We had lunch the following day from the portion size!

Stopped here on our way back to San Diego from the lake. The location is great with easy parking (as long as you're not towing anything) and a great view of the London Bridge Channel. Food is pretty decent. I had the Sonora BBQ pizza and I would order it again. I also had the Amber beer. It was ok but I would try something else next time. Service was acceptable.

Great View, I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. I couldn't believe it, it had what appeared to be a hamburger that was browned and broken up in pieces about the size of marbles (Was not cooked in the sauce). Definitely would never order again. I was asked if I would like another lemon aid and then was told it would be an additional $1.50.

Great place to get away from the heat and if you love beer than this is the place to be. Its a Brewery so they make their own Micro brews. The good. They have this sampler which is a 6 or something of thier different beers put on this wheel you can drink. I mean its alot more beer than buying one glass alone so you should definitely try this. The view is great too. i mean you see the river, bridge, people in boats going by and it lights up at night. The bad. We didn't think the food was anything to talk about. I mean it tasted like chain food. Go for the beer. Not for the food.

Ate here on 7/16/12... Mixed Field greens salad with the pine nuts, feta and balsamic vinaigrette went wonderfully well together....YUM!!! Hubby's pastrami sandwich was delicious! I even liked it...I'm normally not a fan of pastrami. The meat was tender and flavorful...VERY impressed. He wished he had a whole sandwich! :) Great food recommendations and service from Nikki! :)

Lake Havasu is lucky to have a place like this. The beer is amazing! So many to choose from. The beef barley soup is tasty! I have never had a bad meal here. The staff is friendly and attentive.

My in-laws, who live in town, suggested we come to Barley Bros. because they had 2 free pizza coupons...I was on that! In all the visits to Havasu we have never eaten here even though we drive by each time. The restaurant has a nice view of the canal, which is kind of neat to watch. Our table only ordered 2 pizzas and a calzone. My husband said his calzone was one of the best he has had and I enjoyed my pepperoni pizza. Bummed I had to get pepperoni though (had to pick a flavor that would appeal to the kids also) because the menu had quite a few tasty combinations to choose from. Service was prompt and friendly and they kept our beer, wine and the kid's milk full. We will be back.

In our search for local breweries we stopped here in our road trip. Beer was bland, and lacks body and flavor (gosh I'm spoiled with 4 peaks). So after having some samplers, we decided better to enjoy lunch than beer. We had sandwiches and they do offer the half and half option. I got my turkey melt with a spinach salad. Bad point, they put the dressing and of course it was too much for my preference. Sandwich tasted good. Service was friendly and polite Location is the best, looking at a nice garden/park and the iconic London bridge.

4 (relative) stars based on what I have experienced on my roadtrip between Yuma-Lake Havasu-Kingman. Overall 3. When we arrived they were seating everyone in the bar section of tables. The ambiance is dark yet not overly casual. We were a party of 5 and the host/busser sat us at a cramped table for 4 and put a chair at the "head" of the table next to a column. We asked for something larger and he assured we would be just fine here. After the waitress greeted us and brought us water she asked if we would like a better bigger table. YES PLEASE. We asked for one before they sat us. I am glad she was perceptive and proactively moved us to a table set for 6. *ahhh* I loved looking out over the London bridge and the river as the sun set. The menu itself had quite the variety of items, seafood, steak, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, salads. The portions were generous and well priced. The food quality was good. I couldn't decide on which of their brews I wanted to try so I ordered the sampler wheel. Their beer quality is good and they have a selection to please the average beer drinker and tease someone with a more distinguished beer palate. Overall we left well fed and content and even took a short walk along the river when topped off the evening nicely.

Just went here for the first time last night and it was great! The atmosphere was perfect for date night, the view is gorgeous, the wait time was short even on a crowded Friday night. Our server was friendly and our food came out quick. The beer sampler is very well priced and 4 out of 6 were fantastic! Fondue is awesome. I had the shrimp and pesto pasta.. I loved it! My boyfriend got the pb&j burger.. Definitely a unique mix of flavors and he loved it. It was just a great night at a great place. Definitely going back soon :)

We stopped here on the way to the Grand Canyon and this was the closest (and perhaps only?) brewpub. Food was decent and hearty standards, but not too memorable. We had a sampler of their beers and enjoyed them--the stout stood out. We got here late, so can't comment on the view of the lake. We did walk out the the outdoor seating area and the edge of the river--looked like it would have been cool to chill out there on a hot day.

We arrived at about 5:30pm for dinner and were seated promptly. The host was friendly and polite, which is normally a surprise in Lake Havasu! The waitress was at our table in less than a minute, so I ordered a Barley Bros. Hefeweizen (the 23oz. of course!). I normally prefer the Bavarian style Hefe but this one was American style and still pretty good. I ordered the grilled chicken club and my wife ordered the Jamaican Salmon. Both dishes were delivered in about 10 min and were cooked perfectly. We would order both again. Our bill came to about $60.00 for 2 entrees and 3 drinks - an acceptable amount for the level of service. Two thumbs up!

I've eaten here twice and the food is only mediocre. It's not fresh food. Frozen seems to be a trend with any of the restaurants owned by these people. Pricey for only mediocre. Beer is good though. Good service from our waiter. Great location and view of the bridge and lake. But wouldn't bring friends or family if I was trying to impress someone. Not very clean either.

I was staying across the street at HEAT hotel. It was getting late and I wanted something close and good. The desk clerk recomended Barley Bros. It was walking distance, so I checked it out. Full menu was available at the bar. The IPA was good-not-great. Then again, I prefer pale ale anyway. Since it was just me, I wanted to keep it cheap What stuck me about the menu is that everything seemed EXPENSIVE, but maybe in a resort town they can get away with this somewhat? So trying to navigate through the minefield of $16.99+ entrees, I settled in on the $11.99 appetizer platter. Beer battered onion rings tasted more like the tempura that was on the chicken. But overall, it was a pretty good choice. A $10-$13 sandwich is probably the best value. Service from the guys at the bar was friendly and prompt. Please don't take my 3 stars as a "bad" rating. If you're close, by all means, drop in. The location is super convenient. Practically on London Bridge.

We showed up just before 9 pm with a party of 9 including small children. I have NEVER had better service than we did from our waiter John Doek. He went above and beyond in getting every order correct the first time. He went so far as to have the ribs the kids were sharing individually cut and actually walked the girls to the restroom since we weren't sure where it was. The food was amazing as well. The gorgonzola mushrooms are to die for!! And the secret bloody mary mix....delicious!! Best restaurant in the city as far as I'm concerned!

I've never had the misfortune of eating a dry rotisserie chicken until now! I had the Cajun Rotisserie Chicken that was not only dry, very bland as well! I struggled with each bite, asking myself if my next unsavory bite was worth the calories. Two stars for the food. However, I found the service friendly, the atmosphere lively, and the beers amazing! I will probably visit, but probably just for drinks and appetizers next time. Note to the magners: clean your windows!! If you're going to pay top dollar for water front views, make sure the windows are clean.

We hadn't been here for a while so we popped in for Happy Hour and appetizers. The selection on the appetizer menu was good and one of the better ones in town. Our waiter was excellent so big Kudos to Jonathan Douck! He made our time fun! The stuffed mushrooms are great!

Visited here in July while staying at the Heat Hotel across the street. Good atmosphere, good beer, good location - next to London Bridge. Only had beer here. No food because we were still full from dinner at another place. The food menu here looked good. Beer was good. Especially enjoyed the stout. They take pride in their beer here. Good atmosphere. Good location that overlooks the water and the bridge. Bartender was a nice young guy. I enjoyed talking at the bar with a retired LA City fireman who now lives in Havasu. Would like to spend more time here next time we stay in Lake Havasu City.

My husband and I were very hungry and wanted to have dinner. We drove the boat right up to The Brewery and had the most awesome dinner. My husband had a huge burger which was delicious. I had the Steak special it was cooked to perfection and was so good. We also had soup and salad that was amazing. The service was very good and the view of the bridge while dining is so cool. Love this place !!!

We showed up at this place at 9:00 PM on a Wednesday night and they were eager to serve us as a group of 10. The service was to say the least great. From the time we entered to the time we left, all of the employees were there to provide top notch service. As expected, the drinks were great! The food was also great! The view of the water and bridge helped to enhance the overall experience.

Have only eaten in the bar until tonight, food/service OK. Tried restaurant side .... Bad service, impolite staff and waited for food 30+ minutes, no apologies really, and 18% gratuity added to bill (we did have a party of 8), but no consideration to circomstance. Place was not full, and would have kept on waiting if we hadn't brought it to someone's attention. Even considering the wait and mediocre food, if our party was given an ounce of customer service we would have been OK ~

This is not your "young people" party place. This is a brewery with very good beer, unbelievable food, and a great atmosphere. Three people out of our party ordered different meals and all said that it was the best that they ever had. The price is fair, the service is great, and the views are good too.

We try to stop in at Barley Bros. every time we're in Havasu - good food and great beer! My favorite is the Trippleberry Wheat, so refreshing on a blistering 120-degree summer afternoon. We usually get the fish and chips or the blackened salmon sandwich and a margherita pizza to share. The servers are very nice and attentive and it's air-conditioned!! WOO HOO!! I try to get a growler (gallon!!!) of my trippleberry wheat to go - $18 of cold goodness that I can enjoy the rest of the day. And? If I have enough sense to bring the growler back? They'll refill it for $15. Nice view of the boats going into the channel and the London Bridge, good food and yummy beer (and my handsome hubby beside me) - life is sooooo good. :)

I am giving Barley Bros 4 stars simply for four things: 1. Good, hot, lightly seasoned french fries 2. Friendly service 3. We had fun (we like to laugh) 4. Good view Barley Bros doesn't need an in depth review, it's classic brewery food! Bring good friends on a blue skied day and enjoy yourselves, it's Lake Havasu. Don't compare the food to restaurants from home :) P.S. Beer is okay, good for the moment. Nothing to write home about!

I end up at BBB for a friend's birthday dinner. Havasu is an interesting place when it comes to food. It used to suck but it's become better since the city has grown with the "Boom" of Federal Government sponsored liar loans. Essentially almost everyone with a house in California re-fi'd a couple years ago and bought a second home they couldn't afford in Havasu. With all that growth businesses started showing up like flies to a fresh pile and with it came better eateries. Anyway, back to BBB. We had reservations for 7:00. We were on time and so was BBB. They sat us right away. The layout is sort of strange...longer than it is wide so, they don't really have a cool setup for large parties. Our server was Crystal...she was cute and cool. I brought a bottle of wine for our party but...WTF, BBB doesn't have a cork fee? That's because they won't cork your bottle or let you open it yourself. I didn't ask but maybe it's some kooky Arizona law that lets you drink copious amounts of alcohol on the lake all day but won't let you bring a bottle of wine into a restaurant. Started with the bread & cheese fondue and if you read my review of the "Melting Pot" you'd know I'm not a fan of "Fondue". I was mistaken on this one....it's was delicious. I also ordered a Hefe-Weizen beer since they brewed their own. Good but not spectacular. My meal was the Chicken Picata and it was pretty good for Havasu. Not the best I've ever had but decent and filling. Everyone else in my party of 8 was pleasantly surprised and pleased with their meal. The meal was completed with a complimentary desert for the birthday girl to which, the staff sang a lame version of "Happy, happy birthday". NOTE TO RESTAURANTS: Stop singing this song and come up with something more creative. I suggest you have the manager, chef, and floor staff come over and just say "Happy Birthday (insert name), thanks for choosing us on your special day". That would have 10x the impact on me. I'd feel special and it's personal. Anyway, I'd come back. The experience was good.

Been eating here for years , but the last couple of times have been disappointing. Service is always good, but the quality of the food has gone down hill. I'm personality not a beer drinker , but the beer drinkers in my party loved the beer. I have had steak here over 10 times but the last two times the meat was tough and lacked flavor. My daughters pasta was very runny and she didn't like it at all. The pizza are always a safe bet. Great location, just not great food.

this place was ok... the reviews for this place are a bit over the top. either that or we went on a bad night. our server was extremely "meh".. Our server spent more time visibly cashing out her tips on the POS system than paying attention to our table. We ordered the "Sampler Platter" and the BBQ Chicken Pizza. The sampler platter was thrown together in a hurry and was messy at best. The pizza was basically overcooked bread, BBQ sauce, chicken and A LOT of cheese. I come from lake country and this place is definately fine for a casual place to hang out. It's bar food and there is always a time for that kind of thing, buut not when billed as something completely different.

came here to possibly eat but decided to skip because it was a little pricey. We did have one beer and it was the blonde. Didnt have a ton a flavor. sat at the bar and they were very friendly. The menus were kinda gross and dirty and needed to be wiped down.

We needed a place to stay between the sierra mountains and Sedona. Lake Havasu City was our pick. Think spring break girls gone wild and you get the picture, if you have never been here before. We always like to try the local brew. So, over the London Bridge to Barley Brothers we went. We had a beautiful view of the city's main attraction but up close it resembled a miniature golf course. The food was decent. We started with the stuffed mushrooms. They were creamy and cheesy with a bit of toasty browness on top. We had 2 beers: IPA and Oatmeal Stout. Both were very good. For our entrees I had the salmon cobb and he had the margarita pizza. Both were also surprisingly well done. So, if you have to stay in Lake Havasu city, eat at the Barley Bros. If you have a choice, move on to civilization somewhere else and you will not loose the brain cells we did just being a part of this city for a night.

The Barley Brothers Brewery is a solid lunch/dinner joint in Lake Havasu City. I ate there for dinner and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, friendly wait staff and most importantly for a brewery, the excellent Hefeweizen. With all that said, this is pretty much your standard brewery. The only thing that makes it unique is it's location which is right next to the London Bridge.

Meh. We always get really good service here, everyone who works here is beyond friendly and capable. It's just that the food is not very good. Nice wine selection this time. They have added a few things to the list that makes my tastebuds happy.

If you are looking to try some local beers, kill some time and eat food that isn't at all good for you, this is the place to do it. Barley Brothers is an on-site brewery/restaurant/bar that serves up some pretty good beer and some decent food. They have a ton of different beer choices that have been brewed on-site, including some seasonal summer ones that are really good. If you haven't been before, be sure to ask for some suggestions before ordering. The food isn't bad, but it isn't great. I'll give it a fairly good. Try the onion rings and garlic bread- both are pretty good and go quite well with beer when you're day drinking. The garden burger is good too, but in my opinion, any restaurant that actually thinks to include one on the menu is awesome. Not that many places do, so they win a star just for this alone. Also, they have a roasted veggie sandwich that ain't too bad either. If you want pizza, the margherita or the spinach feta is the way to go. And if you're a pasta eater, try the baked ziti. No matter what you get, make sure to try the beer. It's excellent and you can get a view of the brewery depending on where you sit too.

Came here with friends and family after a day on the river. Had the seafood pasta. My fiancé had a pizza. The food was great and reasonable priced. I live in havasu and this is one of my favorite restraunts. they have great service, and an excellent selection of micro brews. we take a lot of out of town guests here because of the view of the channel and the bridge. they also have the best chocolate cake in town!

  • Debbie M.

My husband loves the beer and I love the view. Good food and a fun place. We usually meet friends here while in town. I really like their stuffed mushrooms. The usual fare of a mico brewery, the service is good & the prices are reasonable. I love the water here...I know it sounds silly, but I am a big water drinker and with the heat of summer I drink twice as much when I am here. I guess because of the water quailty is so important for good beer I get the added bonus of great tasting H2O too!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Lake Havasu. I love Jake's Cheese Fondue - usually order it as a meal along with a Caesar Salad and some Iced Tea. Sometimes I get the Tripleberry Wheat beer brewed here, or the JennaGrace Hefeweizen.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
